Wildflower Teas on the Bus
Wildflower Teas on the Bus is a unique cafe set aboard an original Routemaster Double Decker bus in Battlesbridge, Essex, just outside Wickford. It is parked in a beautiful location with views across the countryside and space outside for alfresco dining. It also has a brand new cabin to dine in or host a party. It would make the perfect spot for hosting a special occasion, like a birthday, baby shower or hen party. At Wildflower Teas on the bus, not only do they have a regular menu serving lunches, waffles, pancakes and cakes but they also create seasonal graze plates and amazing themed pancake stacks. These are constantly changing throughout the year, so be sure to check out Wildflower’s facebook page for the latest offers.
The food portions at Wildflower are huge so you will not go hungry and you certainly will not be disappointed!

Pancakes on the Bus
Wildflower Teas on the Bus have a huge selection of Pancake topping flavours to choose from. They also regularly run special offers for example; their Pancake Day Special in February. This is £10 and includes a pancake stack of your choice and bottomless tea, coffee, orange or apple juice.

You can choose from the following Sweet Toppings (flavours do vary seasonally):

All sweet toppings includes whipped cream.

You receive a huge stack of fluffy pancakes, generously topped with the flavour of your choice. We opted for the Biscoff Pancakes and the Oreo Pancakes. These were epic and looked and tasted amazing! I’ve also previously tried the Streaky Bacon and Maple Syrup and these are also seriously good!
Love Lunch – Ploughmans Graze Plate
The Love Lunch is a Winter Ploughmans Meal Deal. For £12.50 you receive:
- Cheddar Cheese
- Thick Sliced Ham
- A Crusty Roll and Butter
- A mug of Soup
- Sausage Roll
- Pork Pie
- Quiche
- Boiled Egg
- Mixed Salad & Pickles
- Salted Crisps
Followed by a trio of handmade mini cakes; Carrot, Victoria Sponge & Chocolate and any hot drink from the menu.
This is a lovely selection of both savoury and sweet treats to enjoy at your leisure overlooking the fields with a hot drink enjoying a catch up with friends or family. Again the portion size is massive and is a really lovely idea for a graze plate. Who doesn’t love a Ploughman’s after all?
Afternoon Teas at Wildflower Teas on the Bus
Wildflower Teas on the Bus offer so many different themed afternoon teas in Essex. These change seasonally and offer an interesting and delicious selection of sweet and savoury treats. Everything at Wildflowers is cleverly and creatively put together, I don’t know how Victoria comes up with such inventive and exciting ideas! It really is the perfect spot for a lovely brunch or lunch in Essex.
Little Elves Afternoon Tea
The Little Elves Afternoon Tea at Wildflower Teas on the Bus, is an extra special afternoon tea for both adults and children to enjoy! It is brimming with festive treats for everyone to enjoy. Not only do you receive three filled tiers for your afternoon tea but also a graze sleigh overflowing with snacks. It is £25 per adult and £17.50 per child. It is served with unlimited tea, coffee, hot chocolate and squash!
