Father Christmas at Audley End

Audley End Railway Train at Christmas travels through the woodland. Along the way you’ll see lots of festive decorations to get you in the festive mood. Your journey along the track upon the Santa Express to Father Christmas’s Winter Wonderland. You and your family will meet Father Christmas, along with his very cheeky Elves. Each child receives a special gift and helps Father Christmas to raise enough Christmas spirit to fill the spirit-ometer to its maximum.

After leaving the train you get to visit the enchanted Fulfen forest with Holly the Christmas fairy who will lead you through the paths lined with snowy fir trees. You will visit the reindeer feed factory and create your own reindeer food package to take home and leave out on Christmas eve for the reindeer.

You will then journey to the north pole post office and write a special letter to Father Christmas. Once stamped you can then post it to Father Christmas in the post box.

Also available on your visit is the Adventure Play Area, Café and seating in the Tipi Tents. Their is also story telling with Mother Christmas at the candy land stage area. There are lots of lovely photo opportunities as you venture through the magical and festive woodland.

It is always such a magical experience at Audley End Railway and especially at Christmas time. Everything is so beautifully decorated, including the cafe area.

There is also a cafe on site offering a small selection of lunches and snacks and hot and cold drinks. We love the hot chocolate topped with cream and lots of marshmallows and a burger and chips always goes down well!
