Queenz the Show with Balls – The London Review
I was invited to the London debut of ‘Queenz the Show with Balls‘, an epic drag extravaganza currently touring the UK, that continues it’s tour into 2023. Described as ‘A night of gender-bending, life-affirming fun and frolics with a bunch of ‘boys’ who dance like Britney and sing like Whitney.’

What sets this drag act apart from the rest is the fact there is no lip syncing in sight. This sequin clad quintet are just full on amazing vocals with fierce choreography to match.

So what is Queenz the Show with Balls all about? Find out everything you need to know about the show!
I attended the press night of Queenz at the Arts Theatre in London. A drag vocal Supergroup perform a concert style show, singing some of the most popular pop diva anthems, remixed and reimagined with a pizzazz of drag humour. Music included songs by Whitney Houston, Beyonce, The Spice Girls, Shakira, Lady GaGa and Britney to name but a few. They also perform a hysterical medley of Westend musical songs with a cheeky humorous drag twist to the lyrics. This was truly hilarious!
Each Queen gets their chance to shine by performing their own number including group songs. We get to know Miss Dia Montay as she interacts with the audience, works the crowd in between songs, she is incredibly quick witted and had the audience in fits of laughter.
My thoughts on the show
You can’t help but fall in love with the sassy cast of Queenz, they are oozing talent. These five fabulous power vocal powerhouses literally set the stage ablaze with their fierce dance moves and death drops! Their singing truly blew me away.
Queenz the Show with Balls is a real good vibes experience that will have you singing and dancing along. There’s a good sprinkling of cheeky humour that’s certain to put a smile on your face and I Ioved their message of kindness and their celebration of embracing your true self. I had an absolute blast watching Queenz, I’m definitely going to book tickets to see them again in 2023! I am a QUEEN!
