Cammas Hall Farm Halloween Experience

Upon arrival we checked in for our time slot and headed into their Halloween experience. We started off trying out their Wicked Walkway Halloween tunnels. These were so much fun to walk through, we had a blast. They had decorated them with scarecrows, spiders and all sorts of spooky characters and props. They start off very mild for younger visitors and if you choose, you can test your wits by entering the scarier tunnel. The scariest tunnel was labelled as age 12+ years. They had some scarier characters and props inside this tunnel. I am a bit of a scaredy cat but was completely fine, I just sent in my child first of course! I think this is great as it has something to keep both the younger and older children entertained, catering for all ages and sensibilities.

The Pumpkin Patch

Cammas Hall Pumpkin Patch is a great spot for pumpkin picking in Essex with over 70 varieties to choose from. It has a huge array of pumpkins and squash in all colours, arranged in groups to make them easy to find. There are signs displayed to show you the different types. They were also very reasonably priced. You simply grab a cart and pick your pumpkin. I bought some squash, as they are great for an autumnal dinner and keep for absolutely ages (unlike half the veg in my fridge!).

There were plenty of photo opportunities and several Halloween characters roaming around the pumpkin patch to join in with the fun. They all kept in character and were so friendly and interactive. In the pumpkin patch area they also had a catering van with some seasonal food and drinks options. We enjoyed a yummy Halloween themed hot chocolate.

Monster Mayhem Show

We watched the Monster Mayhem show and had such fun, even my 11 year old daughter enjoyed it. Professor Von Strudel can’t ever seem to get his inventions right. Fed up of everyone laughing at him, he decides to make his most terrible creation yet – a fearsome monster designed to wreak revenge on all those who crossed him! But an unfortunate mix-up means his monster plans don’t go quite as he intended…

The show included puppetry, with catchy songs and a great deal of silliness, this 45 minute show was really a lot of fun, plenty of audience participation and a lovely addition to our day!

(This show is silly not scary and is suitable for monsters of all ages).

Admission is £8.00 per child an £5.00  per adult (+ booking fee).  10% discount if you book at the same time as your Halloween Pumpkin Patch tickets.

Farm Shop and Halloween Gift Shop

The Farm Shop and Halloween Gift shop was decorated in a fun and spooky theme, with lots of fun Halloween themed gifts and treats to buy. You can even buy your pumpkin carving set if you don’t have one already.
